Job Title: Business Editor

Overview: We are currently seeking a proactive Business Editor to lead content strategy and production for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about producing high-quality, engaging content and possess excellent research and analytical skills. This role offers the opportunity to drive forward our content initiatives and collaborate with a supportive team.

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Develop and own the content strategy aligned with broader business goals.
• Manage a editorial calendar of weekly columns and social media content.
• Contribute ideas to wider marketing and business development activities.
• Produce the daily news bulletin and ensure accuracy, quality, and impact.
• Write articles for Weekend Editions, collaborating internally and externally.
• Lead or support interviews with industry leaders.
• Plan, research, write, and produce white papers and reports.
• Ensure a rich supply of market intelligence and share findings with the business.
• Own and manage relationships with news monitoring and intelligence providers.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Relevant Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• Previous experience producing written content for professional publications.
• Strong writing skills with a clear, succinct, and adaptable style.
• Ability to understand and distill complex concepts into clear messaging.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to assess information relevance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress, Mailchimp, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM databases.
• Client-service oriented with a commercial mindset.
• Collegiate and collaborative with senior stakeholders.
• Rigorous, methodical, proactive, organised, and focused.
• Interest in brands, business, and leadership.

Location: London

Hybrid: 3 days in the office

Salary: £45 - £50k
