The Company

Are looking for an Account Director position in media and want to join one of the agencies in the 'big six'. I have a role available in London right now for an agency who wants someone to come in and work with one of their newest wins.

This client is looking for a confident and driven individual to join their team as an Account Director. As the Account Director you be able to keep up to date with any changes to the media landscape. The new Account Director will be well organised and possess a strong attention to detail.

The agency you will be joining has a team of 65 and they are all passionate about what they do and they are dedicated to promoting diversity & inclusion within the agency to make sure everyone feels welcome. The client you will be working on is one of this agencies newest wins and are one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK.

The Role

• Alongside the Group Account Director and Client Partner, you will set the agenda for the effective management of your group of client accounts within and amongst the team and develop the strategies for both client and business development and growth.
• As Account Director you will be seen as the primary, day-to-day client lead responsible for bringing together the combined resources of the agency to deliver responses to briefs and your clients' objectives.
• You will have developed excellent working relationships with all critical, senior client contacts, built on trust, reliability, communication and performance delivery of client objectives.
• Having ultimate responsibility and accountability for your group of accounts, you will have an acute knowledge of each client's terms of business, ensuring that they are adhered to and applied correctly within all plans and proposals and reconciled regularly by the wider team to ensure financial accuracy.

The Candidate

• Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to continually learn and understand within the role and the wider industry.
• Ability to be flexible, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge of industry planning tools (e.g., TGI/YouGov, IPA Touchpoints, etc.) and reporting/measurement.
• Broad understanding of the media landscape, the role of all channels, how they work together and how they can be measured.
