The Company

My client are a specialist B2B publisher with a global reach, digitally published in over 11 languages!

Initially established in 1998 as a software platform with a rebrand in 2002 as a web portal, my client offer doctors and medical staff innovative news on newly released drugs and education on how to best execute treatment with the most success. My client offer unique marketing and advertising programmes to the biggest pharmaceutical players in the world covering microsites, learning centres, medical programmes, panel discussions and video engagements!

Account Manager - A world leading B2B Publisher! (Kent)

The Role

  • Attend client meetings/conference calls as required
  • Lead project pre-launch activities, coordinate internally/cross-functionally as needed to meet client requirements and deliver services
  • Consult with clients to jointly establish specific goals, the metrics used to evaluate project success, and to align on expectations for maximum client satisfaction
  • Drive internal brainstorming for account expansion and account development planning where applicable collaborate with new business team
  • Prepare pitches and proposals for additional business opportunities with existing clients
  • Cross-selling and Up-sell: network with the client organisation to acquire new projects/accounts outside current specification (in conjunction with new business team)

The Person

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to be the hands-on leader of multiple accounts/projects to deliver them profitably
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, combined with thorough understanding of the commercial drivers of the business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with their peers
  • Openness to travel within Europe and USA
