*Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and increase their annual spend with the business.
*Maintain regular telephone contact with your clients
*Up sell relevant solutions and ensure that you represent the company in a professional manner.
*Ensure that you are able to match your clients' needs and demonstrate creativity and solution selling skills
*Attend a training course to develop your account managerial skills
*Communicate regularly with the field based account managers to ensure that the company's strategic goals are met.
*Other ad hoc duties
The ideal applicant for the role will possess the following:
*A minimum of 18 months in a B2B sales environment
*Exceptional rapport building skills
*Experience of managing a team, or having shown the desire to do so
*Good strategic thinker
*Strong team working ability
*Good eye for detail
*A drive to succeed and over achieve
*Strong sales motivations
*The desire to work with existing accounts in a targeted environment
*Results driven personality
