Location: Cambridge

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 basic + OTE

Are you an experience hybrid sales professional with experience having worked in a SaaS Start-up environment and are you looking for a new opportunity?

The Company:

This SaaS business creates productivity software for a global audience across the UK, U.S, Australia and New Zealand. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team, representing the voice of the customer for their brand-new communication and productivity tool, as well as pitching and winning new business.

With offices located in Cambridge to match their friendly, go-getting and passionate team, you will benefit from working for an extremely financially stable organisation with the excitement and energy of an agile start-up. You will play an integral part in reporting on what is being done and how it can improve! With the opportunity to earn a commission package on top of your basic.

The Role:

  • Successfully on-board and convert users to the platform to deliver maximum revenue
  • Represent the voice of the customer to the business
  • Pitch to prospective new clients to achieve targets set.
  • Liaise with all marketing, sales and development teams with customer needs.
  • Be very hands on - doing user demos, on-boarding training sessions, phone users, host webinars, send emails, use intercom chat to connect with customers.
  • Attend trade shows to develop and nurture relationships with key industry professionals
  • Identify future potential use cases that would improve conversation and understand the industry/competitors.

The candidate:

  • Proven track record having won new business as well as retaining existing relationships.
  • Customer focused experience within a software business to ensure you can hit the ground running.
  • Ideally experience having worked in a start-up environment - wearing many hats!
  • Strong communication skills to ensure you can liaise cross-department to build relationships and improve efficiency.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team.
