Are you an experienced Researcher, who has worked in social research and housing? Are you looking for a new challenge? Where you can be instrumental in delivering high quality projects to clients, and helping to shape the direction of the team? If so, this could be a good role for you.

The Client
Based in a fantastic London location, the client has very modern and open plan offices, with a great view and a vibrant office environment. They are extremely successful in social and public sector research, and are now looking to grow out the housing offering. This is a very exciting time to join, as they enter this growth phase. As such, they are looking to appoint an Associate Director, who will operate as the number two to the Research Director heading up this area. This role les will suit an experienced research professional who have worked in this space and is looking to help drive forward future business success.


The Role
In the role, you will be working across a range of housing projects, from proposal writing through to reporting and presenting results to clients. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of these projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to budget, and that they meet the brief. Projects are largely quantitative in nature, although there is an opportunity to get involved in qualitative research to further understand the research results. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that will make a difference - looking at the challenges that people face around affordable housing and quality of living.

Key Duties Include:-
- Responding to briefs and writing proposals, and attending pitch meetings
- Overseeing tracking projects, providing updates and regular reports for clients
- Designing bespoke ad hoc research projects, that will answer the client's questions
- Writing questionnaires, checking these work and then writing data processing specs that will cut the data
- Overseeing the project throughout fieldwork to ensure that it is on track and making any necessary adjustments
- Checking the data and then identifying the key messages
- Pulling out the key findings and putting these into insightful reports
- Presenting to actionable insights to clients
- Working with more junior team members to help develop their skills and deliver high quality outputs to clients
- Working with the Director to create a vision for the team and a strategy around developing and on-boarding clients, as well as growing existing accounts

The Candidate
- Educated to degree level, with a strong quantitative research background with experience working in social and public sector research in housing
- Ability to confidently respond to briefs and write proposals and deliver pitch presentations
- Proven track record in both ad hoc and tracking projects
- Ability to pull out the key findings and report this in an interesting and informative way, working with other team members to help them with this as well
- Management of people would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build up strong client relationships
