The Role:

You will be working closely with one of the world's biggest motor companies, taking the digital infrastructure to the next level. Last year they created a bespoke programmatic buying solution for the client, which takes advantage of the best specialist resource, technology and data from to provide a transparent buying model. Currently planning and activation is being done at a local level, to take the digital strategy to the next level they are transitioning towards a centrally activated structure This is being realised through the creation of a new Biddable Team, aimed at coordinating all spend on so-called biddable media channels across Europe (YouTube, Programmatic, Social, Search).


  • Work with the analytics and relevant teams to ensure all the required platform set up, billing and tagging is in place in good time for market launch
  • Work with local teams to plan digital media budgets and develop best in class digital media campaigns
  • Become the biddable lead for local clients, develop strong relationships with them through regular phone contact and email
  • Build trust by being transparent and honest, keeping local clients informed at all times
  • Be a source of expertise and encourage the development of the clients' digital knowledge
  • Provide central FCSD clients with regular updates on digital activation across Europe
  • Work with teams to deliver and optimise programmatic campaigns.
  • Activate paid social campaigns centrally where required
  • Facilitate adoption of new technologies and strategies across programmatic and paid social
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation outside of the platforms (eg. creative or UX) and work with the appropriate teams to develop a test programme
  • Work with the key stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency


  • Solid prior experience in a biddable media role (programmatic or paid social)
  • Practical understanding and experience in delivering Programmatic or social campaigns and good working knowledge of at least one DSP or Facebook Business Manager
  • Ad-server experience required, ideally in DCM
  • Good working knowledge of web analytics platforms (ideally Omniture)
  • Performance experience preferred
  • Client facing experience (or can demonstrate a similar experience with internal teams)
  • Experience in reporting and competent in Excel. Experience in Data Studio a bonus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly organised
  • Interest in Programmatic, digital media and advertising
