Your Profile

You are a progressive Finals Standard Patent Attorney who can demonstrate proven commercial experience in Life Sciences/Biotechnology subject matter. You possess a first-class honours degree background in either a Biotechnology/ Biochemistry or Biochemical related subject and are competent at handling direct client portfolios. Already working towards both UK and EQE Finals Papers or recently completed , with a minimum of 3/4 years experience, you will have gained excellent exposure to direct client contact and original drafting prosecution. Those Attorneys who have studied at PHD level should also be encouraged to apply. Essentially, you must have excellent written and oral skills, an impressive academic record, and be able to liaise with decision makers at all levels.

A brand new position, this role will enable the successful Patent Attorney to gain increased exposure to some truly pioneering portfolios with pivotal blue-chip clients both home and abroad. You will enjoy considerable responsibility and autonomy for a significant portfolio of clients, with genuine scope for business development too. Attorneys in this firm are exposed to much more variety of work than other traditional practices, as caseloads derive from a variety of Partners so you can expect both high quality and high volume of challenging cases.
