The Person

You are a progressive Finalist or Qualified Patent Attorney (EPA or CPA) looking to move into a key position with one of the most prestigious firms in London. You possess a first-class honours degree background in a Biotechnology or Life Sciences subject and should be competent at handling a range of patent portfolios with organisations of all shapes and sizes.

You should possess genuine drive and determination to exceed expectations in the IP profession, and take pride in the quality of service and commercial advice you offer clients. Essentially, you are looking to stretch yourself professionally, and be rewarded for it.

The Role

A brand new position, this role will enable the successful Patent Attorney to gain increased exposure to some truly pioneering portfolios with pivotal blue-chip, SME and University clients both home and abroad. You will enjoy considerable responsibility and autonomy for a significant portfolio, with genuine scope for business development too.

Attorneys in the firm are exposed to much more variety of Biotechnology work than other traditional practices, as caseloads derive from a variety of Partners so you can expect both a high quality and a high volume of challenging caseloads to encompass contentious and litigious areas of IP.
