This is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled broadcast videographer/camera operator to join a global media group who specialise in TV and radio broadcasting.

As a Broadcast Camera Operator/Editor, you will be an essential part of the videography team working on a wide range of video projects ranging from advertising campaigns, event campaigns, live broadcasts as well as pre-recorded content. You will help create exciting and engaging content, from filming live multi-camera events and interviews to editing short and long-form videos for social and broadcast.

Your time will be split 70% shooting for social and TV and 30% editing. Therefore, this role does require you to have extensive knowledge of cameras, lighting and filming techniques. You will also need extensive knowledge of editing techniques and will be expected to have good experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & Creative Cloud.

The role is offering up to £32k basic salary

Responsibilities

• Manage the in-house studios and camera equipment.
• Take creative lead, with running media servers and archive processes.
• Responsibility for camera and lighting requirements on internal and external shoots
• Work closely with the video content producers, contributing ideas and advising them on the latest kit and techniques for their shoots.
• Help improve the quality and consistency of the content produced

The Person

• At least 2-3 years of filming experience at a professional level
• Expect level editing with extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Extensive knowledge of professional cameras, lenses & lighting
• A great understanding of post-production with a particular focus on grading and editing
• Graphics skills - basic knowledge of after effects and photoshop is a bonus
• Vision mixing - live and multi-camera vision mixing experience is an advantage
• Excellent communicator and thrive in high-pressure situations.
