Business Development Executive

£20000 - £32000 per annum + OTE+Excellent Benefits

Having been established for over 20 years, the company are a leading company specialising in the tech sector. Having doubled in size both in terms of turn over and head count in the last few years, they are looking to capitalise on that success further by growing sales team in their London head office.

Their reputation is built on unique marketing insights, which enable them to provide effective tech solutions that are tailored to their client's individual needs.

The Role

Specific responsibilities and objectives include:

  • Seeking and creating business opportunities by identifying prospects and researching and analysing sales options.
  • Developing, maintaining and nurturing relationships with prospects by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifying new product initiatives by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information. In time be able to prepare highly effective presentations and business proposals to present a professional image and develop the relationship.
  • Generating multi-level contacts within a client organisation in order to develop a long term partnership and exploit business development activities.

The Person

  • A minimum of six months sucessful B2B sales experience, ideally in a new business (cold calling) role.
  • More than likely degree educated, but we're willing to consider non graduates who demonstrate outstanding potential.
  • An understanding of business to business marking techniques.
  • IT literate, especially in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proactive and well organised.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, we will be looking for you to demonstrate above average communication skills.
  • Well presented and articulate.
  • Confident communicating with people of all levels.
