£20,000 - 28,000 per annum DOE +£10k OTE

As Business Development Executive for one of the most successful providers of bespoke learning technologies in Europe, you will be given the opportunity to play an important role in its growth alongside your own. This rapidly growing business has developed award winning training for a large variety of clients using their innovation, technology and e-learning expertise. They are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and consultative individual to develop existing clients and identify and generate new business. Not just passionate about their clients, but also you - you will be given a day per quarter for personal development courses! Ted talks, Google courses, the choice is yours…

The Role:

  • Working closely with Consultants to take briefs and assist with proposals to develop your commercial awareness
  • Executing inbound marketing strategies with blog posts, tailored campaigns and content to reach your target audience
  • Following up on warm leads including web enquiries and inbound calls to convert to meetings for Consultants
  • Monitoring portal notifications, opportunities for tender, and maintaining the sales information system to maximise business prospects
  • Understanding client requirements, using creative and persuasive writing to assist in articulating proposed solutions

The Candidate:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree, preferably within Creative Writing, Marketing or English Studies so that you are able to confidently write tailored and engaging content
  • A self-starter with initiative so that you can hit the ground running with minimal guidance from the Consultants
  • An excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills to ensure you can comfortably build rapport and relationships
  • Solid influencing and negotiation skills will allow you to successfully identify and convert business opportunities into sales
  • Passionate about learning and development to capitalise on the opportunity to progress from a Business Development Executive to Consultant
