🚀 Hiring: Business Development Manager (Events | Aviation & Transport Focus)
💷 £45,000 base + £40,000 OTE
📍 UK-based role | ASAP start

Are you a confident sales professional who thrives on closing high-value deals and speaking with senior decision-makers?

We're working with a leading global events business that delivers world-class conferences connecting the aviation and transport industries across the globe ✈️🌍

This is a full 360° Business Development role where you'll take ownership of the entire sales cycle - from first conversation through to closing major sponsorship and partnership deals.


🔥 What you'll be doing:

  • Driving new business across the aviation & transport sectors
  • Selling high-value sponsorship & partnership packages
  • Speaking daily with Directors, VPs & C-level stakeholders
  • Building tailored commercial proposals that deliver real value
  • Managing your pipeline using Salesforce & Gong
  • Working closely with internal teams to shape event content & strategy
  • Hitting (and beating) revenue targets

🎯 What we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years' sales experience (events ideal, recruitment also great)
  • Strong track record in full-cycle sales
  • Confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable prospecting and building your own pipeline
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing ability
  • Organised, commercially minded, and consistent under pressure
