The Client

The company is a very well established, highly respected and creative, digital-facing organisation who offer bespoke media solutions for clients in the technology and financial services sectors.

They are looking for a Business Development Manager with a good track record of account management and business development to sell sponsorship across a portfolio of European forums, conferences, summits and awards in the financial services sector. The role will be very client facing and will require a very consultative sales approach and with the company always looking to enhance client offerings, you will have the opportunity to implement your own creative ideas.

You will be supported throughout your career and have the opportunity to undertake internal and external training courses and have on the job training.

They are also based in a fantastic Central London location where you will have access to numerous retail discounts!

The role

  • To take responsibility for maximising your own sales results in conjunction with your manager.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts will help to nurture future sales and encourage sales growth.
  • Analysing and researching potential client relationship to develop a pipeline of new business
  • To present/meet with clients and travel to European countries
  • Full utilisation of the Sales Force CRM to produce accurate prospect lists and pipelines.
  • To be aware of the importance of the market share and yield for both your brand and your own client base.

The Person

  • A proven track record in sponsorship sales will enable you to support the sales team by managing existing accounts and bringing on new business.
  • Excellent communication skills will help to engage with senior clients.
  • Previous experience in identifying sales opportunities and developing relationships at a senior level will benefit you in this role.
