Business Development Manager - Programmatic

The Role

A fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing national client direct digital sales team for one of the UK's largest multimedia companies.

Reporting into a Head of Digital Performance Scotland, you will be responsible for driving client direct programmatic and digital revenues across the Scottish business territory. You will be delivering sales messages effectively to direct advertisers who are looking to target either a national digital audience or a larger regional digital audience.

  • To drive sales in order to meet revenue targets
  • Identify new digital commercial opportunities primarily within the programmatic and digital display market
  • Generate face to face meetings and calls inline with KPI's
  • Close new business accounts and grow existing client base

Business Development Manager - Programmatic

Your Profile

You will have outstanding proven direct media sales skills, ideally with a knowledge of digital and the different digital advertising channels. You will be an effective operator, gets things done with good pace, be a proven new business developer and develop existing business. You will be highly numerate and a clear commercial thinker, able to identify and maximise revenue opportunities. Senior level direct client contacts would be an advantage.

* An understanding of search engine optimisation techniques, cost per click campaign management, social commerce and digital display advertising considered desirable
* Experience selling or demonstrated knowledge of programmatic advertising
* New business hunter with a proven sales track record for achieving targets
* You will be creating market leading proposals and be expected to close business
* Looking to develop a sales career in digital advertising
