Position: Commercial Development Manager

Location: London

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 basic + OTE

The Company:

A leader in license publishing content are looking for a strategist and problem solver to join their team as a Commercial Development Manager. Generating over £40m+ per year in revenue, this business is doing incredibly and has been nothing but consistently growing over the last few years! Working with the commercial team, you will play a vital role in identifying opportunities and building on them.

With outstanding offices located in Central London, you will benefit from working within an effective and stimulating industry. You will be offered a collaborative working culture within a company set on progression. You will have an amazing opportunity to work at the forefront of the business's commercial strategy and implementation.

The Role

  • Identify ways to improve the value of existing licences, products and services to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Pitch new project ideas with internal and external stakeholders to foster new prospects and revenue growth.
  • Attend key industry events and meetings to develop and widen your contact base.
  • Identify and create new licences, products and services from publisher content and data.

The candidate:

  • Experience having assisted in developing products/services/licenses and created commercial opportunities from these.
  • Your strong communication and collaborative skills will help you to liaise cross-department.
  • Inquisitive, entrepreneurial, passionate about problem solving and have initiative ensure you can hit the ground running!
  • A self-motivator able to work independently and flexibly with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
