Salary: £35,000 - £39,000

An industry leading association body is looking for a Communications Advisor to join on a 12 month FTC to help develop their policy communications strategy.

About the role

• Contributing to the wider comms and policy function, you will be producing proactive media coverage as well managing responses.
• Understand policy issues affecting the industry, and then turning these into clear messages to engage and get traction from the media and audiences.
• Advising colleagues on broadcast opportunities, acting as a spokesperson, execute digital and analyse ideas for website and social media platforms
• Monitor and analyse relevant media / policy coverage, participate in networking opportunities, develop relationships across the internal team.

About you

• Professional background in PR or media relations with an understanding of policy.
• Proven experience in using digital / social media, creating content, working knowledge of social media analytics.
• Ability to produce high quality work which communicates complex information / ideas in a creative and professional way.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage complex relations across a range of stakeholders.
