Consumer Events Marketing Manager £42k + bonus

Are you looking for the rare opportunity to work on industry leading consumer shows and manage a team of passionate marketers?

The company are an exciting multi-platform media business who have an impressive portfolio of well known and internationally recognised consumer brands to include online and print magazines, TV and online commerce platforms and exhibitions.

With the recent acquisition of one of London's leading exhibition organisers, our client is now looking for an Events Marketing Manager to work on 2 large scale, well-established shows in London.

As the Consumer Events Marketing Manager, you will be focused on driving leads and increasing engagement with the brand to deliver a first-class experience to their prospects and attendees. You will have the opportunity to implement your creative ideas and manage a fantastic team of passionate marketers.

The role

  • Plan, manage and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns including print and online advertising, direct mail, email, sales promotions and partnerships, social media and PR campaigns.
  • Create and manage marketing budget
  • Work with the Marketing Director to ensure the tactical campaign plan supports the overall marketing strategy
  • Provide strategic insight to support the development of the shows in both the short, medium and long term
  • Working with the Customer Success team on improving the experience their customers are having to ensure their customer journey is maximised
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with media partners, trade associations and other relevant professional organisations.
  • Manage a team of marketers
  • Produce post-show reports, analysing the effectiveness of the campaigns

The Person

  • Your solid marketing experience will ensure you can effectively understand, produce and deliver brilliant strategy and campaigns.
  • A talent in email marketing for b2c events will enable you to use your knowledge to effectively drive delegate acquisition.
  • Your strong leadership skills will allow you to be confident in managing members of the team.
  • You will have strong experience in financial planning and budget management
