Are you an experienced Communications Manager looking to work for a respected Charity?

This company are extremely well respected and offer emotional support to individuals from many different backgrounds throughout the UK. As a Digital Communications Manager you will responsible for project managing the delivery of a new Intranet to inform & engage over 20,000 volunteers & staff. You will need to work with the comms team, copywriters & internal stakeholders to ensure clear and engaging content is developed for the new site and commission new content where needed.

The Role
* Work with the Internal Communications team, copywriters and other internal stakeholders to ensure clear and engaging content is developed for the new site, by improving and migrating existing content
* Shape and structure the architecture of content based on user-centred design principles and work with the internal communications team to engage volunteers and staff in user testing during the development of the site.
* Develop a governance framework and establish content standards for the site, develop and deliver skills training and guidance documentation for content owners (staff and volunteers).
* Work with the Internal Communications team to ensure key project milestones are communicated with volunteers and staff, and to develop a communications plan for launch of the new site
* Establish a set of key performance indicators and quality measures to ensure continuous improvement to the site.

The Person
* Able to deal with people in a diplomatic and sensitive manner, emotionally resilient and able to work with sensitive subject material
* Ability to communicate with other staff members, volunteers and external agencies
* Able to design content to meet user needs and make complex language and processes easy to understand
* Outstanding copywriter and editor, with an eye for detail and the ability to communicate key messages in a clear and engaging way.
* Has experience of creating and iterating content across multiple channels
* Identifies, analyses, manages and monitors relationships with and between stakeholders.
