Would you like to drive revenue from one of Britain's most established readership through one to one communication channels?
This media publisher owns multiple ecommerce and publishing brands, they cater to a wide range of audiences and have won several newspaper awards including the British Press Award.
The CRM Contractor will be responsible for building 5-6 email campaigns a week. You will be working across the early stages of the customer journey to move readers from casual to engaged and then critically to transaction. Delivering significant revenues across the businesses, using email as the primary channel with a data driven performance focus.

The Role:
* As CRM Contractor you will be building, testing and deploying email communications, ranging from solus sends to multi-week campaigns from Exact Target.
* Supporting and managing the publishers contact strategy, applying email communication best practices and manage contact frequency rules for audiences.
* Ensuring their marketing is optimised for the agreed customer segments to improve open and contact rates, as well as being agile in responding to changes in performance to flex to meet targets.
* Working with Information Security to apply and advise on the best practice data collection and management standards in with GNM privacy policy.
* Working with Data team to understand audience profiles and propensity models for cross-sell and support the business in incorporating these into BAU and optimising ways of working and campaign planning to balance workload across a range of products and channels.

The Candidate:
* With your proven CRM experience including knowledge of CRM tools and technology you'll be able to successful deliver on database marketing & customer segmentation experience
* Your experience in managing CRM campaigns across multiple channels will reflect in your ability to deliver an appropriate customer journey and contact strategy for each stage.
* You will have a data driven, analytical mindset, as well as working knowledge of HTML so you can develop email templates using Exact Target
* Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will reflect in your ability to copy write and support with creation of emails if required
* Your proven marketing experience will influence in the decisions you make to optimise engagement online
