Your Profile

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part or recently qualified patent attorney in the fields of Electronic Engineering or IT/Software who is keen to develop their own client base as this need arises from a growing workload in these technical areas. You should possess a minimum of 4 years experience and enjoy the variety and challenges of modern practice environments.

You will be supported and helped to grow in this role, as necessary, by a close team of expert practitioners.

The successful candidate must be commercially minded, hard-working, self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work closely with direct clients is essential.

The Role

The opportunity to join a creative and supportive team in London with a clear path for career progression with an in-house training programme, which is individually tailored to you.

The role also provides the opportunity for autonomy, agile working, flexibility and part-time working if required.

You'll be handling a large proportion of direct clients, which includes a broad portfolio of electronics, IT, Software and AI technology, requiring lots of input and discussion. There's a range of European prosecution and opposition/appeals too. There's also freedom-to-operate opinion work to manage over a number of key accounts.
