This firm encourage autonomy amongst their qualified and part-qualified staff, allowing them to take responsibility for their training budget, choosing which lectures to attend and when to take time out of the office to study and sit examinations.

As an Electronics/Physics Patent Attorney, you will be a part of a team who takes pride in the quality of their work and genuinely enjoy working closely with clients to offer tailored solutions. The Role

* Whilst studying for professional exams, you will be able to use your established drafting and prosecuting skills to protect and exploit client inventions
* This position will allow you to offer contentious support before both the EPO and UKIPO, so the opportunity to expand your IP knowledge is readily available
* Working with a lead partner in the profession, you will be able to handle a mixture of small, medium and large clients to include SME's, university spin-outs and global blue-chip companies
* If you have a keen passion for business development, then this unique position will allow you to develop your networking skills by developing your own portfolio of clients

The Person

* With a minimum of 5 years experience in the profession, you will already have drafting and prosecution skills to springboard you to the next level
* You should be a CPA or EPA qualified patent attorney
* A degree background in a physics, electronics or IT related subject will ensure you feel comfortable picking up a range of electro-mechanical technologies
* Previous experience liaising and advising a range of clients will ensure that you can provide expert advice to different stakeholders

*Opportunities are available nationwide and include: Manchester, York, Sheffield, Birmingham and London.
