Your Profile

You are a recently qualified (CPA or EPA) patent attorney with a background in Electronic Engineering or Physics, looking to move to a smaller, closer knit firm that can offer greater autonomy and responsibility than your current practice. Experience of telecommunications, computer science and broad ranging electronics technology would be advantageous. You should enjoy marketing and networking with UK based clients in particular, and possess the commercial maturity to advise clients on their respective filing strategies.

The Role

This is a newly created position as a result of key expansion plans for the firm throughout 2018. The position is a unique proposition in a crowded market place, as you will work with a high proportion of UK based clients that require individual attention and nurturing. If you prefer to avoid repetitive agency-biased cases, this position will allow you to genuinely hone your client management and drafting skills.

The Company

This highly established practice has maintained a small, friendly and proactive culture that appeals to attorneys who wish to work in a close-knit practice, but with the reassurance of a sound business model. They have preserved long-standing relationships with clients and benefit from longevity of tenure from their employees at all levels of experience. The firm can offer partnership options for the right individual, so your career and welfare will be well looked after. This is a unique proposition that should appeal to attorneys who are looking to break free from corporate culture, or feel hemmed-in at their current employers.
