The Person

You are a progressive and commercially astute patent attorney (finalist or qualified CPA/EPA level)) with a proven physics, electronic engineering, or telecommunications background. Experience from either private practice or industry is welcomed, but you must be able to demonstrate personal drive and strong commercial nous in your career to date.

You should be adept at liaising with clients first hand and feel confident in advising and defending complex patent portfolios. Applications from attorneys who embrace business development opportunities will be very much welcomed. Essentially, you enjoy liaising with decision makers directly to impart your intellectual property expertise to many different sizes of client.

The Role

This newly created patent attorney appointment in York should attract finalists (and indeed qualified attorneys) looking for a career-defining challenge in an environment that can offer a significant number of direct clients, as well as high-value prosecution portfolios.
