As an Electronics/Physics Patent Attorney, you will be a part of a team who takes pride in the quality of their work and genuinely enjoy working closely with clients to offer tailored solutions. The Role

* Whilst studying for professional exams, you will be able to use your established drafting and prosecuting skills to protect and exploit client inventions
* This position will allow you to offer contentious support before both the EPO and UKIPO, so the opportunity to expand your IP knowledge in readily available
* Working with a lead partner in the profession, you will be able to handle a mixture of small, medium and large clients to include SME's, university spin-outs and global blue-chip companies
* If you have a keen passion for business development, then this unique position will allow you to develop your networking skills by nurturing your own portfolio of clients

The Person

* With a minimum of 18 months experience in the profession, you will already have drafting and prosecution skills to springboard you to the next level
* You will have passed the UK Foundation course/exams and be looking to either start or complete your finals exams in 2018/19
* A background in a physics, electronics or IT related field will ensure you feel comfortable picking up a range of electro-mechanical technologies
* Previous experience liaising and advising a range of clients will ensure that you can provide expert advice to different stakeholders
