As an Engineering Patent Attorney, you will have the opportunity to join an established technology group that serves many multinational businesses in the UK and internationally.

The Role

* You'll work on a full service portfolio of patent work to include prosecution, drafting, filing, opposition and advisory work.
* The group serves first-tier automotive suppliers, oil and gas service companies in the US and an industrial conglomerate in Japan.
* This newly created role may be able to provide a unique in-house secondment, exposing you to the more commercial aspects of IP
* You'll advise and act for exciting start-up companies, SMEs and a number of UK Universities.

The Person

* A good degree in an Engineering discipline, with a minimum of 12 months post-foundation level experience, you'll feel comfortable with a range of engineering technologies and sectors.
* Previous drafting and prosecution experience from private practice or industry will ensure you can maintain the firm's exceptional reputation of successful patent protection
* Working towards full qualification, you pride yourself on your client handling skills, as well as possessing commercial acumen to advise clients strategically.
