The Role

* Developing client-facing skills and working with major multinational companies across the full spectrum of engineering;
* Opportunity to work on portfolios in automotive and oil & gas sectors that will nurture your drafting and prosecution skills;
* This newly created role may be able to provide an in-house secondment, exposing you to the more commercial aspects of IP;
* A proactive working culture will enable you to prioritise caseloads accordingly, in order to provide clear, commercial and legal advice to clients on their strategic direction.

The Person

* With a minimum of 12 months post-foundation experience, you should feel comfortable using a range of engineering technologies to include aeronautical and automotive portfolios;
* Previous drafting and prosecution experience from private practice or industry will ensure you can maintain the firm's exceptional reputation of successful patent applications;
* Working towards qualification as both a CPA and EPA, your current experience will lend itself well to the current team and add value to the already established team of patent attorneys.
