Up to £28,000 + £15K OTE

Are you looking for an exciting event sales position in the heart of London, selling on an exciting large-scale expo portfolio?

I am currently working with a world-leading media company, with centrally located offices in London and who run events across Europe, Asia, the USA and Africa. They bring together executives, business leaders, and cutting-edge start-ups to showcase real-life applications in Artificial Intelligence. Currently they are looking for an Event Sales Executive to work on their global Events and Summits. So if you're looking to work on a well-established and market leading portfolio, which is set to grow further and offer you more opportunities - this could be the role for you!

The Role

  • To grow delegate revenue across the global series of events as the shows continue to scale significantly in all markets
  • To uncover new business prospects and also grow revenues and group packages for existing clients
  • Also working on the VIP acquisition campaign to target C-Suite enterprise representatives alongside the paid campaign
  • Confirming participation of enterprise leaders across events to achieve the revenue and number of attendee target set per event
  • Analysing data within the target universe to build an ecosystem of Enterprise IT leaders and Technology Vendors
  • Assisting with customer service enquiries and supporting the sponsorship team to meet the expectations of Event Sponsors pre-event and onsite.
  • Building relationship with Event Sponsors to obtain wish-lists, finalise passes registrations, assist with VIP introductions and deliver one to one meetings during the event
  • Taking relationship to the next level, maintaining a customer- centric approach and providing a great customer experience to the AI Community members

The Candidate

  • Graduate or previous experience working in a business environment
  • Highly organized, innovative and methodical, aiming to improve internal processes whenever possible
  • Ability to lever multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail
  • Desire to learn and obtain a holistic understanding of the company vision and strategic goals
  • Results-driven; ensure Sales & Guesting campaigns fulfil targets and achieve the required business results
  • Being professional, punctual and keeping business etiquette all times
  • Charismatic to build relationship over the phone and face to face during the event
  • Perform on high standards, being work ethic and remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work on early morning or late evening shifts as per campaign requirement
  • Able to travel internationally to deliver the global events globally
