The Role

Our client is recruiting for an Event Sales Consultant to be responsible for managing both existing customer accounts and developing new business relationships across a portfolio of events. This will include managing retention accounts to ensure deepening customer engagement across a range of events. The Event Sales Consultant will also be required to secure new business accounts to ensure sustainable growth across your portfolios.

  • Maintain and develop accounts to build excellent working relationships to increase portfolio growth.
  • Take accountability for your individual sales targets and results with accurate pipeline forecasting.
  • Create and maintain an individual sales plan and ensure maximum delivery against sales targets for entire portfolio.
  • Combine account management with new business sales, including sourcing your own new business leads.
  • To raise and maintain brand profile and become the recognised face of your portfolio, internally and externally.
  • Closely monitor competitor activity and understand the market forces influencing your sectors.

The Person

  • Experienced working in sales for a conference or exhibition organiser
  • Excellent communication skills and time management with the ability to close sales
  • Proven ability in account management and new business sales.
  • Experienced CRM user
