You will be working for a leading data and insights company that provide first hand data to the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors. My client has an award-winning team that has worked with 25% of the best-selling drugs in recent years and more than half of the top 100 global life science firms now rely on their unique insight into real world data.

The role:

Reporting to and working closely with the Account Directors and Business Development Manager, the role of the Graduate Account Manager is to support the company in meeting its revenue targets by generating new business opportunities, supporting the pitching process and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business, products and industry (with full training and support)
  • Generating new leads and capitalising on opportunities generated through marketing campaigns
  • Follow up on existing leads in a timely manner
  • Securing new business in order to achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
  • Pitching to clients, including credentials presentations covering all aspects of the business
  • Operating as the point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts, while building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Maintaining accurate records regarding the opportunity pipeline and customer contacts within the CRM system
  • Supporting Account Managers and Account Directors in a variety of tasks, including writing proposal documents and attending client meetings and calls

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a sales or account management role from a placement, internship or part-time role during studies
  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a Life Sciences subject
  • Demonstrable ability of presenting and communicating confidently
  • Capable of producing high quality documentation, such as proposals and RFPs
  • Ability to maintain and develop client relationships
  • Interest in healthcare analytics and research sector
