Our client, one of the UK's largest wholesaler of furniture and interior accessories are recruiting for a Graduate Business Development Executive with a passion for interior design to join their team based in London! With over 40 years' experience importing and selling on design-led furniture's, our client has grown to become one of the industry's largest and most trusted trade-only names. Within this family-run business, there is opportunity to represent the company by building relationships within the existing established client base and to bring on new accounts. The role

  • You will be managing and developing existing customer accounts across your designated area of London
  • Working remotely and from within the London office to visit all current and prospective accounts
  • The role will include the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative trade fairs in the world!
  • This position is highly customer facing and involves meeting with high street retailers, interior designers, property developers and hoteliers for sales opportunities
  • 4 days out of the office driving to meet potential clients, 1 day a week in the office generating leads and completing admin work
  • The role will begin as lead generation and contacting existing clients then lead into purely account management


About you

  • A full, clean, UK driving licence
  • As this role is customer facing, the ability to engage with customers within the market is essential
  • A passion for interiors and home-wares is essential for this role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to succeed
