Head of Commercial Content.

The client is an award winning B2B Digital media and events business who focuses on three core markets such as, sustainability, financial services and technology.

They have recently been acquired by a global events, data, and media platform, who have taken over numerous largescale portfolios within the business.

The brand we are working with are the UK's largest agricultural information business who aim to bring together the UK agriculture community, through information, events, and digital platforms

They are now looking to recruit a brand new Head of Commercial Content to be responsible for leading all client-led content for this portfolio.

Leading a team which delivers innovative and engaging content solutions across print, digital and face-to-face platforms, your aim will be to drive growth and revenue through the development of new audiences, partnerships and content initiatives

Content production will include:

• Creating digital supplements
• Writing articles - mainly feature length
• Creating videos script and storyboarding

This is a full time permanent opportunity paying up to £58k basic salary plus 10% bonus.

You will also be required to work 1 day a week in office - Tuesday or Thursday from their Preston office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and delivery of commercial content and event content production.
• Identify synergies to make better use of existing content and campaigns
• Use data, research and insight and lead the team that produces content which is engaging, fresh and relevant to current and future audiences
• Work collaboratively across the organisation, drive the development of content that attracts commercial customers and grows audience and engagement.
• Work closely with the commercial team to identify opportunities for commercial content campaigns/pitches
• Play a key role in building partnerships with industry bodies which could help broaden the scope and validity of commercial content proposals

The Person

• Deep understanding of developing and delivering engaging commercial content across all formats and channels
• Strong team leadership and collaborative ethos which ensures all enquiries, internal or external, are handled correctly
• Excellent project management and planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
