Head of Marketing - US based (Must live in the USA)

Location: Remote, USA resident with some travel required
Salary: Up to $160,000 + 10% Bonus

About the Opportunity

We are working with an Education client who is seeking a commercially focused, hands-on Head of Marketing to lead marketing strategy and execution across its growing online education portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing leader who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on delivery. You'll own the full marketing function, driving brand awareness, lead generation, student enrolment growth, and overall marketing performance.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of marketing within a fast-growing online education business while leading a lean, high-impact team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the US marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and student enrolment growth
• Own and optimise the entire marketing funnel, from lead generation through to conversion
• Drive demand generation through paid media, social, content, partnerships, events, and digital campaigns
• Lead brand positioning and messaging across all marketing channels
• Partner closely with Admissions, Academic, and Leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals
• Oversee campaign performance, reporting, analytics, and ROI
• Manage external agencies, vendors, and marketing technology platforms
• Own marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of spend
• Lead and develop a small, high-performing marketing team

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in a Marketing Director, Head of Marketing, Growth Marketing, Marketing Lead, or Senior Marketing Manager role
• Strong background in:

  • Growth Marketing
  • Customer Acquisition
  • Performance Marketing
• Experience owning marketing strategy and execution within a startup, scale-up, or growth-stage business
• Comfortable working in a lean environment where you'll be both leading and delivering
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, reporting, CRM platforms, and marketing automation
• Proven ability to drive measurable marketing and commercial results
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
