My client is recruiting for an experienced Marketing Manager who has come from the Events industry, to oversee all aspects of marketing activity within the UK.

Your role will be to:

  • Plan and execute delegate and exhibitor marketing campaigns, on time and budget across the portfolio

  • Produce action plans for all campaigns, while reviewing and forecasting, monitoring spend and report effectiveness

  • Provide integrated marketing support for the exhibition/sponsorship and delegate sales teams

  • Coordinate and manage a range of supplier relationships including creative designers, developers, printers etc

  • Manage a PR consultancy to fulfil the PR plan

  • Produce effective advertising and sales collateral for across the business

  • Attending meetings with key stakeholders, sponsors, event partners

  • Manage and motivate the team, to ensure they understand market trends and develop skills within the business


Candidates applying for this role, will need:

  • Demonstrable experience at management level in events and/or B2B media

  • Detailed knowledge of marketing best practise

  • To ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Ability to network and liaise with senior people/brands and associations

  • Experience of developing an online strategy

  • To work well as part of a team and manage a team

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and written English
