The client is a leading media brand for everything ETF- related across Europe. They run an entrepreneurial newsroom or in broader terms Financial media and event business in the heart of London.
They are looking for a Head of Product to help lead the brand into the future and serve as a part of the senior management team.
You will be charged with building and leading best-in-class digital products through significant growth initiatives and will report directly to the Managing Director.
Ideally you will help to improve existing products and identify new opportunities with a lens always focused on increasing value to users.
The ideal candidate will have significant digital product management experience in a publisher environment, specifically in the financial investment category.
This is a full time permanent position paying up to £75K basic salary, with the choice of hybrid working - Mon, Wed, Fri in office with the option of working from home Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as Team leader, recruiting, coaching and retaining top talent.
- Overseeing all products including the brands website, ad sales, newsletters, video, podcasts, digital reports/magazines, events, etc
- Building and executing a prioritized product roadmap that outlines the path forward achieving key objectives including site performance, product user growth, and revenue.
- Using data and consumer insights to monitor/analyze product performance metrics
- Managing both UX and UI delivering exciting high-quality, high-value product experiences
- Partnering with Sales & Marketing to create innovative, industry leading advertising products and execute their delivery
- Leading communication and collaboration between developers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless product launches and long-term success
The Person
- 5+ years product management experience, ideally with previous management-level responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of the online media; financial industry and investment community
- Work history in both core product development (e.g., product/market fit) and growth product initiatives (e.g., SEO, funnel optimization)
- Proven track record of full responsibility through the product life cycle in a fast-paced environment with a digital publisher
- Excellent communicator who can excite and motivate teams internally and drive alignment, trust, influence, and buy-in with a wide range of internal and external audiences
