The Company:

A well respected national body for careers and education within England are looking for a head of research and impact to join their team. As an organisation their mission is to improve the career outcomes for young people in England. The head of Research & Impact will play a crucial role in this by evaluating current framework and using research data to inform strategic changes.

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced quant researcher with a background within the education sector to move into a clientside role and immerse yourself within the organisation. The Role:

• Overseeing, with partners, the evaluation and research projects for the Company and the associated frameworks.
• Writing and quality assuring research outputs and building and developing the Company's relationships with other research organisations working in the education and employability field.
• Working with data and digital specialists to help commission the production and curation of clear and accurate management information and business intelligence, to be used as integral part of our impact measurement.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with research organisations and policy think tanks to support and contribute towards the evidence base related to careers education.

The Candidate:

• Experience of managing research teams to deliver high quality output
• Experience of social and education research. Ideally with a relevant postgraduate degree.
• Experience of quantitative methods and using analytical software such as Excel, SPSS and NVivo.
• Experience of communicating research to a broad range of audiences.
• A proven track record of creating impact through research ideas generated and projects delivered.
