International Business Development Executive

£24,000 + £11,000 OTE


Are you a target-driven, confident and self-motivated person looking for a lucrative career within sales?

This market-leading business intelligence company sell their data privacy SaaS (software as a service) platform to businesses to assist with their privacy programmes. With a global client base, they work with some of the world's biggest multi-national organisations. Their SaaS platform provides expert insight to help businesses manage their data and to prevent costly data breeches from occurring. As an International Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for consultatively prospecting and creating fruitful business relationships with data privacy professionals worldwide and informing them of the value in your data privacy SaaS platform. In return you will benefit from international travel opportunities, the chance to attend industry conferences, a comprehensive training programme as well as regular social incentives such as Summer retreats, canoeing, escape room games and monthly 'beer and pizza days'!

The Role:

  • Connecting with and prospecting privacy professionals worldwide to understand their privacy programmes.
  • Booking meetings with senior individuals within the data privacy community to build fruitful and effective business relationships.
  • Consultatively pitching the benefits of your data privacy SaaS platform to decision makers within multi-national organisations to build your revenue pipeline and work towards exceeding your sales targets.
  • Travelling to conferences and meetings worldwide to build your network of privacy professionals, expanding on your business development possibilities.

The Candidate:

  • An outgoing and friendly persona with a love for networking with people will mean you confidently engage with data privacy professionals worldwide.
  • Keen interest in technology, data, GDPR and the world economy will allow you to better grasp the subject matter.
  • A hard working, determined attitude will allow you to maximise business opportunities, meet and exceed personal KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills & telephone manner will mean you're able to confidently communicate with senior decision makers.
  • Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels will help you win business and earn commission.
