£25,000 + uncapped commission

This not for profit organisation is a professional association and registered trade union for medical professionals in the UK. As a registered trade union, they help their members by lobbying for change and representing their interests but they also provide practical services to ensure their members are kept up to date with regulations. As a Membership Sales Executive for this not for profit organisation, you will be responsible for playing an advisory and consultative role to both secure new members through business development as well as retaining and upgrading membership packages through effective account management. The Role:

  • Mining through the database and reaching out to medical professionals with the aim of acquiring new members to the professional association.
  • Carrying out effective account management calls with existing members to ensure the retention rate of members remains high.
  • Playing a consultative and advisory role when speaking to any new or existing members to enable you to upgrade memberships whenever possible to maximise revenue.
  • Identify any opportunities to promote the advantages of membership and tailor the membership package to the individual.

The Candidate:

  • Having at least a year's B2B sales experience under your built will allow you to hit the ground running in converting calls into new memberships as well as maximising the potential for upgraded memberships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to quickly build rapport with new and existing members.
  • A self-motivated attitude to work will ensure you make the most out of all business development and upselling opportunities.
  • Having an impressive track record of success in business development and exceeding sales targets will enable you to settle in quickly.
  • A team player mentality will mean you can get stuck in within this collaborative work environment.
