Are you looking to use your proven sales knowledge and management skills to nurture and develop your own team?

As a Sales Manager for this specialist ed-tech business you will be responsible for managing a small existing team, with a view to grow this over the next 12 months. This world leading education resource has been established for almost 10 years and have successfully provided their services to 70 countries around the world. They are looking for an experienced, adaptable and supportive Sales Manager to inspire and develop a team to grow their existing customer base. Based by Tower Bridge in the City of London, they offer a competitive basic salary with high OTE, 25 days holiday and huge progression opportunities.

The Role:

Coach, guide and inspire your team to effectively meet and exceed their revenue targets
Work closely with the Head of Sales to set strategic objectives and run the day to day operations of the sales team
Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting of the team's pipeline and activity to ensure that all opportunities are tracked and that the team are achieving their targets
Recruiting and on-boarding new staff members to align with the companies planned growth and/or any replacements
Managing any under performance in the team using a collaborative, supportive and positive approach to encourage improvements

The Person:

Extensive sales experience with a track record of delivering new business sales over the phone will show that you have a strong understanding of how to be a successful salesperson in this environment
Demonstrated experience in managing a sales team whilst driving continuous development will ensure that you can confidently motivate and inspire your team to reach their full potential
Strong levels of emotional intelligence, a positive demeanour and a high level of energy so that your team are encouraged to look to you for guidance and support
An understanding of CRM tools - will mean that you are comfortable with creating and managing the teams progress and reports
A passion for education, theatre or the arts is desirable as you will have a natural interest or understanding of the product
