Our client are a global B2B trade exhibitions organiser with a growing presence in APAC. They are looking for a Partnerships Executive to develop and manage relationships with agencies and partners.

Role Purpose

The Partnerships Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and growing the company's agency and channel partner relationships across the event portfolio, with a particular focus on the Chinese market. This role will be the key point of contact for sales agents, government trade bodies and trade associations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for all sales agents, channel partners, trade associations and government bodies across APAC and the globe.
  • Own the full relationship lifecycles: onboarding, contracting, performance management, and renewal.
  • Ensure all contracts are routed through and approved before execution.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners in target markets - with a near-term focus on the China market.
  • Work with agents to drive qualified exhibitor pipeline across assigned events, with specific targets by event and vertical.
  • Track and report channel attributed pipeline and closed revenue through Salesforce on a weekly basis and maintain accurate records.
  • Support upsell and cross-sell conversations with existing channel partners where relevant opportunities are identified.

Experience required

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or partnership management - preferably in events, media, or technology.
  • Demonstrated experience managing agency or reseller relationships across multiple markets simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to track and report against pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin Chinese is required due to this role covering the Chinese market.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or equivalent; comfortable with Excel-based reporting.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and manage competing priorities across time zones.
