The Person

You are an experienced Patent Administrator looking to secure a challenging and rewarding role, with genuine career progression. You should possess the following desirable attributes:

* Diligent and thorough work ethic
* Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
* Writes and speaks with ease
* Ability to work to deadlines
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including spotting
incorrect/incomplete information
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Pro-active: willing to suggest improvements to processes

Key Skills & Qualifications:

* CIPA Administration Certificate is desirable
* Experience working in an IP firm or department
* Experience of Inprotech
* Good level of IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet)


The Role

You will be joining a fantastic client-services support department, with an enviable reputation for training and development in particular. Responsibilities include:

* Dealing with queries and updates on Global & SPC cases
* Monitoring the Global & SPC inbox on a rota basis
* Entering new cases on the system
* Reviewing and docketing due dates of incoming correspondence for Global & SPC cases before being sent to a Partner
* Preparing and sending out new applications, while checking for acknowledgements
* Preparing and sending letters
* Reporting filing details and certificates of grant
* Handling and sending forms to local attorneys, such as Power of Attorneys
