Product and Strategy Specialist

Up to £50K

London (with flexible working)

Do you have experience in Programmatic Media Planning and Buying or similar at a media agency? Are you looking to join a successful media agency group with an eye on future media possibilities?

This global network media agency is recognised for its ability to develop and nurture talent and deliver tailored career paths and development programs and this is an opportunity to work as a Product and Strategy specialist, working with several Global accounts. As Product and Strategy Specialist, you will be working closely with senior stakeholders in the business that will take a vested interest in your continued advancement and growth of experience and knowledge from day one. You will be working with the senior leadership team, working in combination with their clients to drive the strategic direction of media and wider communications, working closely with Strategy, Communication Design, Performance and Investment teams to deliver industry-leading solutions across the brand.

Purpose of the role

This role will aim to drive a deeper understanding of client needs when it comes to this agency group in planning and buying programmatic media space and delivering audiences for their clients. This business is recognised for its innovative thinking when it comes to the digital advertising space and its ability to produce products and services that are unique to each individual client. Since no two clients reach their audience with programmatic advertising in the same way, no two approaches to solving these challenges will be the same. As such, the successful candidate can expect to be working with a team of media specialists that are always dreaming up new and innovative ways of answering these questions.

The three key pillars of this position will be product development, client strategy and commercial thinking. You will be working with clients to understand which products and services the business has at its disposal that will deliver the most appropriate audiences for their campaigns and how best to leverage these tools to their maximum effect. In addition, you will be working closely with your clients to understand what opportunities there are to develop mutually beneficial commercial relationships.

The Role

  • Acting as a key point of contact for project briefs, supporting the agencies within the group and key stakeholders on new briefs and supporting on selected projects.
  • Ensuring that products that the agency can access are best in class, future-facing and be able to give clients and agencies competitive edge in the market across existing and emerging channels such as connected TV, programmatic out of home gaming and AR/VR and making sure that products meet client goals.
  • Responsible for supporting the Addressable and Programmatic strategy teams. Supporting them in the education of products and capabilities. Becoming a subject matter experts on how products work, sharing case studies, promoting good work and assisting in developing products.
  • Identifying possible growth and commercial opportunities for agencies to sell in further services and products to clients

You

  • You will have experience working at a media agency as an Account Manager, Account Director or Client Services specialist to be able to understand the challenges that teams face and to provide the best solutions available to them
  • An excellent communicator, able to speak to teams and individuals at all levels and getting them engaged and excited about products and strategies that the business can deliver for them
  • Experience in pitching and delivering presentations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • You will be able to work with multiple international and local teams and able to translate client aims into actions
