Qualitative Insight Manager - Youth .

The Client
Based in London (although currently working from home), the client is a small specialist research consultancy, focusing on children, youth and families. Operating across both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, they offer their clients insights into their audiences and market place, working in partnership to help truly understand what drives the consumer. They are currently looking for a Qualitative Insight Manager now to join the team.

The Role
As Insight Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start-to-finish, building up strong client relationships and seeking out new business as well. This role will suit someone who has a strong qualitative research background, with a wide variety of methodological experience and ideally a background in working within young people or families. Project work spans a number of areas including audience engagement and measurement, segmentation, NPD and creative testing. Although you will be focused on qualitative projects, you will support and work in partnership with the quantitative team as well.

Key Duties Include:-
- Writing proposals and attending client pitches, to secure new business
- Designing qualitative projects that meet the clients' briefs and producing fieldwork materials to ensure the right information is collected
- Carrying out fieldwork including; conducting in-depth interviews, moderating focus groups, running ethnographies
- Pulling together the key findings and writing insightful reports and presentations that tell the story
- Presenting to clients

The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a strong qualitative research background, from an agency, with experience in moderating groups and carrying out other forms of fieldwork
- Experience in working on and contributing to business-winning and proposals
- Strong report writing skills and the ability to present to clients in an interesting and creative way, that allows them to make key business decisions from the findings
- Experience of working with young people would be beneficial
