Are you a qualitative Research Director with a passion for working within the Financial Services sector?

The company is an international award-winning agency with incredible resources and a great work culture, they are now looking for a Research Director to join their fantastic Financial Services team.

Money is one of the world's most sensitive topics, as people often behave illogically when it comes to spending it, which makes qualitative research in the Financial Services a fascinating topic to explore.

The company follows flexible working arrangements and are open to fully remote work, although the option to work from their spectacular Central London office will be available when restrictions have been lifted.

Previous experience in Financial Services, FinTech and Banking would be beneficial but not essential, but most importantly they are looking to bring in an fantastic qualitative researcher with solid market research agency experience and excellent communication skills.

The Role

• Run end-to-end qual projects from proposal writing to presentation
• Using traditional methods such as depth interviews, focus groups, as well as new digital tools, such as online communities and mobile diaries
• Explore topics related to payment options, open banking and new entrants in the Financial Services, FinTech and Banking market
• Line-manage, mentor and support the development of junior staff members

The Candidate

• Solid market research agency experience at the Associate Director level or higher
• Experience in every aspect of the qual research process including proposal writing topic/discussion guide writing, in-depth interviews, moderated focus groups and moderated online communities, ethnographies, analysis, report writing and presenting
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and staff

Salary: £60,000-£75,000

Location: London or fully-remote
