Research & Evaluation Manager - Clientside

£16 - £45000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has become available for someone with experience in research and evaluation, to join a clientside organisation, focusing on education and careers. The role of Research & Evaluation Manager will report into the Head of Research.

The company has a great London location, open plan offices and a friendly and professional working environment. They offer a competitive salary and package and they are looking to take someone on very quickly. They are focused on young people and their education and employment.

The Role

The overall purpose of the role is to manage the evaluation activities of the organisation, developing outcome measurement tools and carrying out research analysis. Working closely with other teams and stakeholders in the business, a key part of your role will be to design and implement effective evaluation strategies to drive improvement.

Key Duties Include:-
- Designing research & evaluation studies, that meet the evidence requirements of the organisation and the evaluation strategy
- Delivering these studies as required, ensuring that the insight is communicated effectively and efficiently
- Implementing standardised evaluation tools
- Utilising a range of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, that fit with the project briefs
- Presenting findings to stakeholders, showcasing the impact and what action needs to be taken
- Working with stakeholders on the implementation of the results
- Where needed, working with external suppliers to gather the data and results for your projects
- Building up strong relationships across the company and with external suppliers

The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- You will ideally have worked in either a research agency or clientside organisation, in a research and evaluation role
- Previous experience setting up and managing research evaluation projects, will allow you to hit the ground running in this role
- You will be confident in managing research projects from start to finish, and translating the findings into actionable insights
- You will have experience working in the public sector, education or young people - or certainly a passion to do so and the transferable skills to succeed in the role
- Excellent communication skills are a must - this role is all about building up relationships and implementing change within an organisation
- You will be highly organised and will have the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- You will have a creative flair - and will be able to showcase succinctly what the research programmes show, and what this means
