Headquartered in Italy, they are looking for a superstar Research Director level candidate with a world-class level of competence in Market Research on the agency side or within a top FMCG brand, to join them in Italy.

The purpose of the role is to maximise shopper understanding within the company by utilising a range of qualitative and quantitative insights, to drive business decisions around shopper and brand strategy.

About the role

  • Following the briefs from the Marketing Strategy team, you will be responsible for designing the research programme that best meets the objectives
  • Working closely with the research agencies, to oversee high quality shopper studies that capture all intended outcomes
  • You will develop an in-depth understanding of the shopper journey and key points of shopper path to purchase
  • Presenting the insights within the global and local business teams, to drive strategy all over the world
  • You will be the centre of global knowledge in shopper Insights, and the go to support within the team

About you

  • You will be an established Associate or Research Director, with experience working with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies
  • To enable you to hit the ground running, strong experience in FMCG or food and drink sectors, is a must
  • You will be confident and experienced in every stage of the research process across quantitative and qualitative studies including; proposal writing and briefing, project design, analysis, reporting and presenting.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills, with a clear ability to develop positive interpersonal skills and convey your ideas and deliver actionable insights to the internal stakeholders
