An industry-leading bicycle retail business is seeking motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultants to join its growing team in Chichester on an initial 26-week contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for successful candidates.
With operations across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, the business is passionate about creating the world's most approachable bike shops while offering genuine long-term career progression and development opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy sales, customer service, teamwork, and relationship-building - no extensive bike knowledge required, as full training and support will be provided.
As a Sales Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience. You'll be joining a supportive and high-performing team environment with ongoing coaching, structured development, and clear opportunities for progression.
The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, achieving results, and helping customers find the right products and solutions.
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. The business is ideally looking for candidates who can work 4-5 days per week but would also consider someone available for 3 days per week.
Deliver exceptional one-to-one customer service and sales support
Build strong relationships with customers and create a welcoming in-store experience
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
Achieve individual and team sales targets
Participate in regular coaching, training, and development sessions
Support day-to-day store operations and contribute to team success
Develop product knowledge and mechanical understanding through training
Maintain high standards of presentation and customer engagement
Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and target-focused mindset
Demonstrated reliability, commitment, and willingness to learn
Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
Mechanical aptitude or an interest in bikes is advantageous
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Initial 26-week contract with the opportunity to become permanent
