Sales Director

B2B Conference Company

$75,000 - $85,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

United States - Fully Remote

An international brand who host exclusive conferences and networking events that connect technology companies providing complex software solutions with the businesses they are looking to sell to. From working dinners to mini conferences, this company allows it's clients to network with the business leaders of their target audiences, and build the sales pipelines they need to achieve their goals. The brand are also in the process of creating an AI platform that will enable them to provide these services at a larger scale for their clients.

The Sales Director will be responsible for:

  • Closely collaborating with the CRO and our demand generation and research teams to create and execute outbound sales campaigns using both email and phone outreach
  • Researching accounts, identify key players in the industry and generate interest from potential clients
  • Identifying and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Researching topics covered in events so you can be knowledgeable when speaking to potential clients
  • Closing sales and achieving quarterly revenue quotas
  • Creating and completing sales campaigns

The Sales Director will possess the following:

  • Positive and resilient attitude
  • B2B events sales experience and track record is preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience with large volumes of cold calls
  • Proficient with applications such as Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Presentations
  • Experience working with CRM such as Pipedrive or Salesforce
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
