The Company:

A market leading data provider within the food to go industry. Since launching 5 years ago they have now accumulated 5 years worth of data and continuing to build on on the blue chip company client base.

The Role:

As the Sales Manager you will be joining an exciting phase of their growth to lead the business further! Day to day you will be:

  • Drive growth by achieving individual revenue targets through, new business generation from leads and other personal contacts in food and drink manufacturing and retailing.
  • Develop new target client databases and proactively network into those organisations
  • Identify new opportunities and emerging market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status and updating the business.
  • To be supportive of the development of the business, bringing new ideas from knowledge of the marketplace.
  • To deliver quotes to new clients and close initial sales.
  • To support the wider business to ensure renewal of client contracts where applicable
  • Present sales, and revenue reports and realistic forecasts (calls, meetings, proposals) to the Board on a monthly basis.
  • To foster continuous personal and business development by networking at workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Booking of revenue and ensuring invoices are sent and monies collected.
  • Support marketing activities and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g, social media activity, price promotions, events and telemarketing

The Candidate:

The Sales Manager needs to be proactive and confident in their sales process. They will require:

  • Previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Knowledge of the food and drink, manufacturing and retail would be beneficial.
  • Highly motivated and excited by the opportunity to drive high income.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • At ease building new business relationships
