This company are the definitive source of independent news & analysis relating to the global financial technology industry. Its iconic monthly publication is recognised worldwide, along with its 20+ industry reports on banking technology. Its subscriber base extends over 38 countries with leading vendors, banks, and consulting firms.
As the Senior Editor you will cover the UK & Europe region from an editorial and research perspective. You must also be able to produce well-researched, accurate, timely, informative and engaging content covering a wide range of banking technology subjects. The is a core team based in London, you will be expected to manage the junior reporters, use your own initiative to generate ideas, to source news stories and to build subject-specific expertise. In addition to print media, you will work with various social media platforms to produce multimedia content.

The Role
* Developing an editorial plan for your region's content for the monthly Journal and its supplements, and writing stories, interviews and case studies.
* Content development includes managing and growing vendor and banking relationships, in addition to attending regional banking technology conferences.
* Working with the report development team to periodically update reports with new content, research and insights.
* Working with the subscription & advertising leadership to ensure overall success of the publications and industry reports.
* Proven ability to achieve a fast turnaround and adhere to deadlines, without compromising the quality of produced work.

The Person
* Minimum of 6 year's of experience in a similar role with a leading business publication.
* Experience in a banking or banking technology publication will be an advantage.
* Strong writing skills; a high level of grammar and attention to detail.
* Thorough research skills and an ability to build expertise quickly.
* Ability to work independently and generate new ideas
* Outgoing personality and ability to build relationships
